Is it just me or did this happen overnight?

St George and Westpac merged to try and create a super bank. And its announced ever so casually.

"Btw, we've been talking very secretly for an extended period of time.. now we're going to be a super bank. Just letting you know.. kkthnxbye."

Or maybe everyone knew all along? But I dont watch the news .. and I missed out?

Hmm.. my bank account is with St. George.. My best friend works for St. George. I hope nothing dramatic happens and changes are excruitiatingly slow (like with the change of government..)

WTH?...

Sometimes, people add me on facebook. And I look at their name/picture and think "who the eff is that?" Then I click on their profile, and it turns out we have 20+ friends in common and graduated school together.

Why dont I remember the people I went to high school with? My grade wasnt even big. And it wasnt long ago. Memory like a sieve.

P.S Pay day is Thurs. I want to buy a leather jacket. Class A tickets to Phantom of the Opera x 2. Good work pants (the ones I bought 5 years ago when I worked at coles are starting to push it). :( Money tree.. Money tree.. !!!

In my spare time, all I think about is when I get to buy a home and move out.

I am growing so tired of living at home with my family.

Its so draining.

And I feel that I can't be who I want to be, but constantly who they think I should be.

This goes beyond teen angst, or rebellion.

I'm too old to be so suffocated.

But I still refuse to rent.

So I have wait til 2010.

Like a crack addict on a shitty binge, I finally got the hit I needed...

The tops I ordered from Witchery.com.au arrived today. YAYYYYYY.

Though, Omg. The package was so unimpressive. It was this stupid plastic bag, thats it. Le sigh. Wheres my thank you note? Maybe I expect too much because Tony Bianco does so well (boxed, thank you note, etc) for the exact same price. I dont see how my $14.95p+h paid for a plastic bag.

But I'll over look that fact because I got $20 off. I was charged only $19.95 for one of the tops even though when I bought it, it was $39.95. Who cares, I love it!!

The tops are pretty, but not as pretty as those damn pictures make out. And they fit. But I still stand by my opinion that Witchery isnt worth shit (I bought my items on sale). Their quality is the same as a much cheaper retailer, like Just Jeans - Its not even as good as Glassons which charge half the price. Once, I saw a really nice trench coat from their. Only to find on closer inspection there were loose threads comming out of the seams. Cmon.. this was a $200 trench coat.

I have the same problem with Portmans. Why charge $79.95 for a long sleeve collar shirt, when its not even cotton, fits poorly and itches? I bought my Marcs shirt for the same price, and its about 100times better (plus its made from Italian fabric). Really.. wtf? If you're going to charge stupid prices, justify it with quality.

So I wont buy from there again. I just wanted to see what it was like. It was okay, but it wasnt great. Tony Bianco is much more efficient. Usually when I order from there the items arrive in 4 business days. I waited over a week for my tops this time.

I'm going to buy my jacket from Sportsgirl.com.au next week on payday (if its still there). Test their system out.

I have to do an assignment.

I hate life (not really).

I hate UNI.

And Im never going to graduate so that doesnt make me feel better either.

Sometimes I wonder why I'm at uni.. But then Ive already racked up too much HECS to pull out (wasted investment). I guess I weren't at uni, I wouldnt have the job I have now.

But having to read a 16 page report on the "new perspectives of the relationships between higher education and employment" makes me want to slice my wrists or commit crimes. And its also an article which tells you, realisticly, getting a degree means shit all and you wont get anywhere.

Whoopee.

I just want to call in sick, and online shop. But I have used up 15 days of sick leave in the past 5 months meaning I am the worlds shittiest employee (kinda).

At work today I researched home loans and looked at available properties in the areas I'm interested in. Ohh I want an apartment sooooo bad!!! Im really sick of living at home and all that jazz. But I have committed myself wholely to this saving plan so I guess that'll be a reality sooner rather than later (I'm aiming for early 2010).

Which is why I did not buy my leather jacket even though its now on sale for $199, instead of $299. Discipline is hard. I have to constantly remind myself that I'll live if I dont have pretty shit because a roof over my head is more important.

:(

Omg okay trying to save for a house and a overseas holidays = the end of my life.

So much stuff I want to buy... no monerrs.

I want a red lipstick. Bright red. Preferably long lasting. The only one I have is my mums from 1987 which Im sure is now poisonous.

I also want these baby pink patent leather pumps from Tony Bianco...

And the leather jacket from Sportsgirl. All this is online.. Because I CBF to go hunt down the right thing in the right size because size 6 clothes are harder to find than black diamonds.

Speaking of which. Ive gotten fat. FAAATTTTTT.... Like as in "WTF is that squishy shit on my stomach?" I mean, I do enjoy having a nice ass and thighs (yes anorexics enjoy having thighs). But that squishy stomach stuff is not cool. I guess its okay, because its winter so no one can see my 4 month old food baby. And I can still fit into my pants  (just some stuff spills out the top). Rofl. Im going to stop eating chocolate and chips now.

Oh and I just discovered Wittner shoes has an online store. Okay official end of my life.

Chi and I were talking in the car today, and something about the past came up. So I decided that I would go home and read through the emails we used to send to each other back in the day (we're talking like 2004 people). Man, remember the days were we used to actually get emails from our friends?

These days, the only emails I receive are from like JetStar, Facebook and work emails. No one loves me, life is emo.

No I'm kidding. Uggh, remember those stupid "send this to your friend 20 times to show them you care" forwards? with the weird flashy shit and the stupid corny poems. I guess no one cares now. Lol

And those 'about yourself' quizzes that asked stupid questions like "what color is your hair? do you like boxers or briefs? do you have a crush? are you sending this to your crush? will your crush reply?" HAHA...

I just realised my email archive is full of gold. Like, I have all this HSC stuff on there. I read this modern history speech I did in year 12, which I received a band 6 for (hence I was enormously proud of), and it sucks. Its good to know I can write slightly better essays now that I'm in 3rd year uni.

Also back in like 2004 when I started calling Paul, Paulabear.. he came up with Anital the Cow to get back at me. ROFL. WTF. And he sent me this picture of a cow with "Look its Anital the Cow. Mad cow disease" on it. OMG... hahaha..

Jimmy (sorry) had his email name as ~¤^Chick Magnet^¤~  . haha... dear god.. Its okay, this was in 2003, and we were only 15! So its totally forgivable.

And I also have this email by this guy I dated and he dumped me, VIA EMAIL. Which I must say is worse than even MSN, because I had no chance to reply til the next day. Yeah I still have that. Sure it was 6 years ago (literally)... Just to remind me, that yes he's an ass. Lol..

Boy, is life different now. I cant believe that was 6 years ago. How did I turn 20?

Weekend 2

Its almost 12 and I should be sleeping but:

1) I have a late (10am) start tomorrow.

2) I got up at like 11am today

3) Chi and I napped in the car just then.

So I'm going to blog about THIS weekend. And try to make it better than the last post which was fucking boring and dry (I realised).

Friday was the bomb (and I suck at adjectives - need to make use of thesaurus). Chi finished work early and picked me up from my work. He is my personal chauffer (kidding). We drove back to his place so he could shower and change out of work clothes then drove to Lakemba because I really wanted to try authentic Lebanese food.

Research on Eatability.com showed that El Manara had the best food ever.... But once we got there, it was a shocker. The place looked like a take away joint, with some old vinyl seats and those weird clear plastic covers over the tables. It was deserted apart from 2 very seedy looking men inside. On the site it describe the ambience as always packed, and "cosy". But it was more like, you enter and exit sans kidney/wallet.

So we went to a much more up market/friendly place up the road. They had mini LCD TVs at every booth, which was effing awesome. And Chi said "I bet they only got this because it was stolen" LOL. Have some faith.. Chi had the mixed plate, and I had this fish dish. It came with complimentary bread and pickles. Oh, the mixed plate was so nice. Ten fold better than Sahara or those kabab places. My fish dish was so different/unusual. It was grilled fish, under a mountain of hummous, topped with these crunchy bits, and pine nuts. It was great! I loved it. Cept I couldnt even finish half of it. Labanese food is SALTY. But it was a great experience, and at least now I've eaten authentic Lebanese food in the heart of Lakemba. And it was cheap as chips.

Then the high light of the night. Driving full speed to Newtown. Driving like mad trying to find parking. Getting lost in the alley ways whilst parking. Eventually parking somewhere random and discovering it was miles from where we wanted to be - which was the Enmore Theatre because I had tickets to the Crackers 2008 Comedy Festival to see Akmal!

It way exceed our expectations, mainly because we didnt have any. Neither of us had been to any live shows and the stuff on TV didnt seem that exciting. But it was awesome-ness (?). There was an opening act, which warmed us up nicely. And these guys that placed the ubb (?), some sort of middle eastern instrument - kind like the guitar. And the number 1 tamberine player in the world. It blew my mind. I didnt even know that was an instrument.. I though you just like shook it to the beat of the music. But this guy made all sorts of magic with it.

Then Akmal came out, and he was WAY funnier than I ever expected. Sure, he was abit scattered, but soo funny. He mostly picked on people from the audience and bounced stuff off them. But it was great, and he's so smart/talented.. hence famous etc.

That was great. One of the best nights Ive ever had.

Okay now Im tired.. that took too long.

Far this is hard.

I'm sleeping now. I might write about what I did on Saturday and today later.

Preview: Sydney Wildlife Park, Watsons Bay, basketball, gourmet pizza - in the car -  in the dark - by a park -  sleeping in the car after pigging out on gourmet pizza (but nothing seedy I swear).

Last Weekend

Maybe, instead of blogging about random shit and complaining, I should focus on what I get up to.

Mind you that isnt much, since I work full time, am somewhat lazy and dont like going out after 10pm (rofl).

So I'll go back to as far as I remember (last weekend).

Friday was Anzac day, in the morning we went to visit Leigh since we had just moved into her own apartment in Burwood (envy). Had yumcha at Straithfield, which was really good because I hadn't had yumcha for like 2 years. It was all of us together, with your significant others, plus Leighs cousin etc. Having yumcha with a whole lot of people is a heap of fun, and we get to order more food and more variety. It really hit the spot. Then we basicly went to her new place to check it out.

It makes me want to move out so much. Her place is awesome. 2 br, double story apartment right near Westfields, opp. the park and close to the station and Stratty. Its clean, and well lit with a veranda. I cant wait til I get my own place as well. Oh tear, we're growing up so fast.

That night Chi and co were planning on the entrance nut the weather was half assed and I was really tired from going out the night before (incidentally I cant remember what I did). Plus I was getting sick. So we had a BBQ at Chi's instead. His aunt's butcher make awesome steaks. So it was jus everyone sitting around, eating and chatting like we do.

The next day, Chi and I went to Center Point Tower because I had this free admission coupon. It was bloody boring and a waste of $25, despite getting one free admission. I fully thought it would be like a glass bottom or something cool like how the Emperior State Building is depicted in movies. But no, it was just 360degrees of WINDOWS... looking out over the city. We did try to spy on people in their apartments through the binoculars - which reminds me not to buy an apartment in the city because people can see you.

Oh and there was this like "Australiana" show, where it tells you how great and wonderful Australia is. Terrible. Never go there.

Then we went to eat at Daniel's family's new restaurant, which was sooo yummers. Everyone HAS to go there, its next to Thaikee supermarkets on L1 in Market City. Best Vietnamese food in the city - some of the best Vietnamese food I've ever tasted. Their rice paper rolls are effing awesome.

Sunday Chi washed his car and I cant remember what else... And it was soooo clean. Oh we ordered pizza and watched Foxtel at home. I'm addicted to that show - Girls of the Playboy Mansion. ROFL. I get to vicariously give out my fantasy of being a platinum blond, DD hoochie with a 82 year old billionare sugar daddy.

Okay that was really long and exhausting. Now I know why I dont blog like this.. far out. I had to tear through my brain trying to remember what I even did.

I also saw Forgetting Sarah Marshall some time ago. It was HILARIOUS.

God put our mouths on our head for a reason!
