Last Weekend
Maybe, instead of blogging about random shit and complaining, I should focus on what I get up to.
Mind you that isnt much, since I work full time, am somewhat lazy and dont like going out after 10pm (rofl).
So I'll go back to as far as I remember (last weekend).
Friday was Anzac day, in the morning we went to visit Leigh since we had just moved into her own apartment in Burwood (envy). Had yumcha at Straithfield, which was really good because I hadn't had yumcha for like 2 years. It was all of us together, with your significant others, plus Leighs cousin etc. Having yumcha with a whole lot of people is a heap of fun, and we get to order more food and more variety. It really hit the spot. Then we basicly went to her new place to check it out.
It makes me want to move out so much. Her place is awesome. 2 br, double story apartment right near Westfields, opp. the park and close to the station and Stratty. Its clean, and well lit with a veranda. I cant wait til I get my own place as well. Oh tear, we're growing up so fast.
That night Chi and co were planning on the entrance nut the weather was half assed and I was really tired from going out the night before (incidentally I cant remember what I did). Plus I was getting sick. So we had a BBQ at Chi's instead. His aunt's butcher make awesome steaks. So it was jus everyone sitting around, eating and chatting like we do.
The next day, Chi and I went to Center Point Tower because I had this free admission coupon. It was bloody boring and a waste of $25, despite getting one free admission. I fully thought it would be like a glass bottom or something cool like how the Emperior State Building is depicted in movies. But no, it was just 360degrees of WINDOWS... looking out over the city. We did try to spy on people in their apartments through the binoculars - which reminds me not to buy an apartment in the city because people can see you.
Oh and there was this like "Australiana" show, where it tells you how great and wonderful Australia is. Terrible. Never go there.
Then we went to eat at Daniel's family's new restaurant, which was sooo yummers. Everyone HAS to go there, its next to Thaikee supermarkets on L1 in Market City. Best Vietnamese food in the city - some of the best Vietnamese food I've ever tasted. Their rice paper rolls are effing awesome.
Sunday Chi washed his car and I cant remember what else... And it was soooo clean. Oh we ordered pizza and watched Foxtel at home. I'm addicted to that show - Girls of the Playboy Mansion. ROFL. I get to vicariously give out my fantasy of being a platinum blond, DD hoochie with a 82 year old billionare sugar daddy.
Okay that was really long and exhausting. Now I know why I dont blog like this.. far out. I had to tear through my brain trying to remember what I even did.
I also saw Forgetting Sarah Marshall some time ago. It was HILARIOUS.
God put our mouths on our head for a reason!
